天寵山窯 8代　兼田昌尚
江戸後期、肥前の國より来萩した陶工により磁器（小畑焼）を主に開窯され、明治中期頃には萩焼に移行。
凡そ200年営んできた陶業に、新しさの積み重ねが伝統を作ることであり、造形に携わるものの使命と取組まれています。
伝統的な萩焼に刳貫手法を取り入れた力強い陶造形が特徴です。
