The Ko-Imari dyed shochiku-bai pattern peephole choko is a valuable antique made in the Edo period. Needless to say, its beauty is worth seeing. The neat shape is decorated with pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms, and by layering them together, it creates a rich expression as a single work.
In addition, the peep choko may look simple at first glance, but when you pour alcohol into it, it becomes even more beautiful, as if you are looking at the cool surface of water. It can be used not only for sake but also as a teacup.
