「織部写舟形小皿（五ツ）」は、7代楽長入による作品です。織部焼をイメージして、桜咲く美しく流れる川面の舟を表現しています。9代楽了入の極めが中箱に、14代覚入の極めが外箱にかかれたの二重極めとなっており、真価を持っています。

楽長入は、左入の長男として生まれ、享保13年（1728）七代吉左衞門を襲名。宝暦12年（1762）剃髪隠居して長入と号しました。
　長入の茶碗はたっぷりと大振り、やや厚造りで豊かな量感を感じさせます。泰然自若とした長入自身の人柄を表すような大らかな作風です。黒樂茶碗は光沢の強い漆黒の釉調。また赤樂茶碗には白土と聚楽土が用いられ、白みの強い薄赤色から赤みの強い色まで数種の釉調を持っています。種々の香合や置物類など写実性に根ざした工芸的な彫塑作品に秀でた才がうかがえます。

"Oribe Shafune-shaped small plate (five pieces)" is a work by the 7th Rakuchoyu. Inspired by Oribe ware, it expresses a boat on a beautifully flowing river with cherry blossoms in bloom. The 9th generation Rakuryu is on the inner box, and the 14th generation Kakuryu is on the outer box.

Rakuchoyu was born as the eldest son of Sairi, and in 1728 he succeeded to the name Kichizaemon VII. In the 12th year of the Horeki era (1762), he retired after shaving his hair and called himself Nagairu.
The nagairi tea bowl is generously sized and slightly thick, giving it a rich sense of volume. It is a generous style that expresses Nagairi's calm and young personality. His black raku tea bowl has a jet black glaze with a strong luster. In addition, white clay and Juraku clay are used for Akaraku tea bowls, and there are several types of glazes ranging from light red with strong whiteness to strong reddish colors. We can see that he excelled in craft sculptures rooted in realism, such as various incense cases and figurines.
