Harrachの番号付けが花瓶の底部に'P.1336'と「4.」が記されています。高さ40.6cmの背に高い作品です。花瓶の重さは992gです。

ハラフの名は日本ではほとんど知られていませんが、美術館などのボヘミアガラス展などで展示されるボヘミアガラスの多くはこのハラフによる作品です。様々な作品を制作していましたが、サインを入れないことがほとんどです。この花瓶にはサイン（記号）があり、ハラフと呼べるお品です。

【ハラフ・ガラス工場　/ Graflich Harrach'sche glasfabrik】
現在まで続く世界でも古いガラス工場の一つで、19世紀のボヘミアガラスを代表するメーカーである。ボヘミア北部でもともと広大な山脈と森林があり、ハラホフ（Harrachov)にいくつかの小さなガラス工房が存在し、それを領主であったオーストリア貴族のアロイ・フォン・ハラハ（Aloys Thomas Raimund Graf von Harrach）が1712年に所有した。優れた技術を有し、ヨーロッパ各国へ輸出され、Dominik Biemannといったボヘミアの最高の技術者たちがそこで働き、その名を世界中に広めた。ジャポニスムやアール・ヌーヴォー期にはその時代の影響を受けた優れた製品を製造し、1900年パリ万博でも金メダルを受賞している。20世紀に入ると第一次世界大戦の影響や、ハラハ家の弱体化の影響で衰退していったが、それでも1925年パリ万博ではグランプリを受賞した。

Harrach's numbering is marked 'P.1336' and '4.' on the bottom of the vase. This is a tall piece with a height of 40.6cm. The weight of the vase is 992g.

Although Haraf's name is little known in Japan, many of the Bohemian glass pieces exhibited at Bohemian glass exhibitions at art museums are works by Haraf. I created a variety of works, but most of them were not signed. This vase has a signature (symbol) and can be called a Halaf.

[Harrach Glass Factory / Graflich Harrach'sche glasfabrik]
It is one of the oldest glass factories in the world that still continues today, and is a representative manufacturer of Bohemian glass in the 19th century. Northern Bohemia originally had vast mountains and forests, and there were several small glass factories in Harrachov, which was owned by the Austrian nobleman Aloys Thomas Raimund Graf von Harrach. Owned in 1712. Possessing excellent technology, it was exported to various European countries, and Bohemia's best engineers such as Dominik Biemann worked there, spreading its name all over the world. During the Japonism and Art Nouveau periods, the company produced excellent products influenced by those times, and won a gold medal at the 1900 Paris World's Fair. In the 20th century, it declined due to the effects of World War I and the weakening of the Halach family, but it still won the Grand Prix at the 1925 Paris World's Fair.
