Shungyo Kato (Takeemon Kato)
The second generation of the Kato Takeemon family, the grandson of Shunrin. During the Anei era (1772-1781), he became a kiln master and engaged in Ofukei ware of the Owari clan, leaving the name of a good worker. He has another issue, "Rakushisai". He died in 1808 (Culture 5). His third generation is called Haruu, and he seems to have left many works. He died in 1827 (Bunsei 10). After that, he was in his 4th, 5th, and 6th generations, and by the time he was in his 7th generation, he turned to the pottery industry. The Buemon family built a kiln in Seto and Kitashinya (Nishitanicho) to make tea pottery, but the proportion of daily necessities is high. The names of Buemon and Haruaki are both used by successive generations, and it is difficult to make them from the works.
